Beat the rush and place all or part of your VBS order NOW!

Order Life Way VBS curriculum and supplies through our NLB Association and NLBA receives 15% of the sales to be used for mission VBS and special needs of specific churches for VBS or mission projects.

Orders must be received by the following two deadlines:

· #1 Order Date—by March 12th (This is a great time to purchase your teacher materials and specialty items! Don’t forget specialty items sell-out QUICKLY!)

· #2 Order Date—by May 4th after April 16-17 VBS Clinics

Here is how it works:

· Call Diana Duncan, NLBA VBS Associational Director at 687-8272 or

· Fax order to Diana Duncan at 687-1251 or

· Diana can email you an order form, you fill it out—it is very easy to do—and email it back to Diana @ diana@roseparkbaptist.org

· Your order will be packed, and charged to your church

· You will be notified when order is ready to for pick up (within 2 weeks)—no need to wait to pay at check out desk!

· Then—our association will receive 15% of the sales!

Remember orders must come through Diana Duncan, Associational

VBS Director, for this to work—not the Associational Office.

All children's groups are invited to participate- GIRLS IN ACTION, ROYAL AMBASSADORS, CHILDREN IN ACTION, OR ANY GROUP FROM YOUR CHURCH THAT IS 1ST- 6TH GRADE

The purpose of this event is to provide an arena for children to learn about the countries and cultures our IMB missionaries work in and about the missionaries themselves, and their families. We learn how to pray for them and support them.

Every Monday from Sept 19 through Dec 12, 2011 at the association office. Cost $20.

 At the July 21, 2011 quarterly Executive Board meeting, members approved a resolution presented by the Camp Bethany Committee to allow construction of a new chapel at Camp Bethany as a gift from the Cross Bayou Emmaus Community. The estimated cost of construction in $1 million not including furnishing, equipment and parking. The costs will be paid for by the Cross Bayou Emmaus Community.

In exchange for the gift of the chapel, Camp Bethany will make the facility available to CBEC for a minimum of 4 walks per year and an additional 4 other meeting dates; that is, 8 functions per year.

The Resolution stated that the Board appreciates CBEC for their generious gift and agrees to name the facility "Cross Bayou Chapel."
