Medical Personnel Needed!

The Governor’s office has been in contact with Senator Sherry Cheek’s
office, who has, in turn contacted our office with a request for ANY
medical personnel.

Please e-mail us back & we will forward the e-mail on to their office (Which
will be forwarded on to Baton Rouge)

1.  Name, phone numbers, e-mail address
2.  Area of specialty
3.  Length of time they are available
4.  When can they leave

As of right now, they will be working out of Baton Rouge.

SPECIAL NOTE #1:  THERE IS NO LONGER A NEED FOR TRANSPORTATION OF PEOPLE OUT
OF THE SUPER DOME.

SPECIAL NOTE #2: For LBC updated information of action being taken - go to
www.lbc.org
 For volunteers   call: 1.877.487.4658  or e-mail  katrinaresponse@lbc.org.
LBC is working with the Red Cross, State Government agencies and SBC
agencies in coordinating all the work.  MUST GO THROUGH THEM.

SPECIAL NOTE #3:  A NLBA fund is being set up for aiding the refugees - "NLBA-Disaster"

SPECIAL NOTE #4: Other opportunities are being set up whereby you can
assist. Will keep you advised as they become available.
